INFORMATIONAL MEETING IMPLEMENTATION

   Once you have followed the steps outlined above, Informational Meeting 

Implementation becomes the starting point of your successful

Informational Meeting. REMEMBER, START ON TIME AND FOLLOW

YOUR FORMATTED AGENDA.

  Brothers must be on hand to welcome guests when they arrive (no work should be done at this point, everything must be in order at least 45 minutes prior to your advertised starting time - remember, some guests will arrive early).

PROGRAM FORMAT

This Program Format is ,mandatory for all Chapters, except alumni Chapters may exclude those aspects of the Format that does not apply to them.

     Introduction

Welcome or greetings

                       What is an Informational Meeting?

Each person present should identify himself to break the ice by giving information about himself (year, major, profession, etc.).

 PHI BETA SIGMA FRATERNITY, INC. - WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

  Brief history of the Chapter (to be presented by capable Brothers)

INTRODUCTION OF THE SPEAKER

  Speaker (select a competent speaker in advance)

  Short focus on the personal aspects of Sigma and the individual association

WHAT IS THE MEMBERSHIP INTAKE AND DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

  Overview (see attached script)

  Cost involved

  Hazing is unlawful and must be discussed

This Program shall contain a restatement of Sigma ‘s Anti-Hazing and No-Pledging Policies.
